But whatevs, I'll still do it!
I called this trip my birthday present, because it happened the week before my birthday. We left on Tuesday night and returned on Saturday. 3 days of Disney goodness and ditching school {and the ACT test}. I got to see ManDuhs the night before we left because we took a SAT prep class together. I'm pretty sure we had to take a practice test that night, but I didn't care cuz I was going to Disney World and somewhere other than AZ, CA, NV, or UT for the first time of my life!

So hot, right?
I get to the airport, and we're all standing around in our ugly yellow shirts just waiting for us to get to board our flights! Super exciting going on an airplane for the first time! We had to take a red eye flight, because it was cheaper, and basically, I slept the whole way. And to be honest, the best sleep I got that week was on the four separate flights that we were on. {we had a 2 hour layover in Atlanta} Then we get to the Florida airport and the excitement is just brewing! We stayed on the Disney property in the All-Star Music Resort {Cuz we were in band and orchestra, ahaha get it?} But it was super cool, because everything was music themed and Disney big!
After getting to the hotel and putting our stuff down, we were immediately on the tram to Epcot!

My group on the first day! See our ugly yellow shirts? I stayed with the 3 boys the whole time. And the girls kinda stuck with us, because we were roommates.
Epcot wasn't my favorite park, but it was kinda cool to see everything! There was a bit of drama that first day because we were all tired of having to spend hours on the plane, and we were supposed to be in groups of at least 5, and my group of 4 got stuck with another group, making it like 11 of us plus a chaperone. So I didn't get to really explore as much as I hoped for, but we got to watch the fireworks that night, and they were amazing! It was the first time I had actually sit down and watch a Disney fireworks show.
The next day, we went to Magic Kingdom! Yay! Even though, it was almost exactly like Disneyland, but in a more confined space. We got to spend the full day at Magic Kingdom, which was so fun! Also, the whole trip long, we got uber lucky and would get on a ride with little wait and then we get off, and the wait time would double or triple when we had got off! I swear, it was so much fun to do Disney with friends {even though it was a school trip} because we wanted to do everything, because none of had ever been there before! But those of us who had been to Disneyland knew what kind of tips we needed to make sure we had a great time. After Magic Kingdom, we went to Planet Hollywood at Downtown Disney and saw a Cirque du Soleil show! Planet Hollywood was THE BEST. It was the best food that we ate the whole trip {that was included in our meal tickets} and just overall fun. The Cirque show was....interesting. It was cool to watch and everything, with the infamous acts that they do, but overall, it was just kinda...weird.
The next morning, was our orchestra concert, basically the only reason why we went to Disney in the first place, to participate in the festival they were having! Our concert time was 7 am, which roughly translated to 4 am Arizona time. Let me tell you, we were ZOMBIES. We slept in the audience when the other schools that weren't ours were playing. We had 3 groups from our school performing with others spread between us. After the festival, we got to spend the rest of the day at Hollywood Studios, which was MY FAVE. First of all, THEY HAD A ROLLER COASTER. If you want to know how to make me happy, I love cookies and ice cream, give me a cello or piano to play, or take me somewhere to ride roller coasters. And Hollywood Studios had a roller coaster that I hadn't ever ridden before {because Magic Kingdom had Space Mountain and the other Disneyland roller coasters.} We ate at Pizza Planet {Toy Story anybody?} and it was the best, even though we had the least time in that park. After we were done in the park, we trammed over to Universal Studios to eat dinner and see The Blue Man group perform! BEST THING EVER. Basically, mind blowing. If you ever get a chance to see them perform, TAKE IT. 4 hours later, we were heading back to the airport to go back to reality. And that was one of the best weeks of my life. But, it didn't end there! I got back to AZ, and took a giant nap, and was just sitting at home, when I got kidnapped by two of my best friends. They blindfolded me, and put me in their car. And I come to see {after they took off the blindfold, obvs} that my friends were throwing me a surprise birthday party! Whee! So, I got to spend the week with all my best friends, and it was wonderful. I def felt loved that week!
And I'm going to spam you with my favorite pictures from Disney <3

The workers kept giving us the line markers for some reason, but they'd always hand them to me or Larry. But Ben finally got it for once and he was excited.

This was at Epcot England. We ended up fitting 5 of us in one of these phone boxes. Too bad that this was before I knew Doctor Who existed.
