As I've said, I've never really enjoyed my birthdays. My sister's birthday is day after mine, so my parents always would push our birthdays together. I rarely got to have my own party {I remember all of two or three that were just mine.}
But I got to say, my 18th birthday was one of my absolute favorites.
First of all, it was SENIOR DITCH DAY. So no school for me that Friday! But, something that had happened to me the day before my birthday, was the boys in the top choir at my school came in an orchestra council meeting that I had during lunch, and they came and sang me a lovely medley. Def cried happy tears afterwards!
I spent the majority of my day with my bestie, Mags. We had a few errands we wanted to run, but we still got to have a wonderous time!
We got my free dozen of doughnuts, actually I got two free! I went once in the morning with Mags, and then once after dinner with my fam.
One of our errands was to goodwill! haha totally almost bought this hat {really, not really}Then, after our errands, we went to Mag's house to watch some Team Starkid! After that, we went to the high school to give some of my donuts to the orchestra and choir teachers who was some of our besties!
Mags dropped me off at my house after our time was done, and I came to find that I had been heart attacked!
The leaders from my Young Women's group had gotten together and gave me a few little gifts and cards. My best friend's family had also come over and made me cards and I was so touched!
After a while, my family and I went to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner! YUMMY!
So overall, it was just a laid back birthday that was filled with fun and family and friends. :)
