Day 7: My Best Friend

I feel that the term "best friend" is way too overrated and overused.  I used to have a dozen "best friends".  Don't get me wrong, I still use the term, but I definitely have a new meaning for the term.  Here are my top 3 best best best friends who I know will forever be my friends.  I have best best and best friends I should mention, but I'm avoiding homework that's due in 3 hours that I need to finish.

My "best" best friend is Mags.

We need to take new pictures together.  This was our last orchestra concert in May 2011.

We do a bunch together when I'm at home.  We go to movies all the time {we get in free because of her employee discount}, we love to shop at Lush, and to eat expensive, yummy ice cream from Target and cupcakes. She's always there when I need to talk to somebody.  We love to do crafts together, even though she complains of me being better than her.  We're in the same fandoms, even though she introduced me to the first ones that I joined.  We can sit in her car for hours and just talk and talk and watch videos of Barbies.  Our friendship is beautiful. <3

This be Manduhs.  We're the coolest cousins in the world.  We text and tweet each other all the time, and post random things on each other's FB walls and grew up together.  And she's finally coming back to me this March! Whee! 

                   Here's the last person I consider an absolute best friend is my beloved Elder David.

I need new pictures of me & him together too.  But I have to wait another year till that can happen. 

  

When I say "beloved" I mean that I seriously love him for all he's done for me for the past few years.  We became close friends during our senior year {about when me and Mags became besties}when our big group of friends kinda fell totally apart.  We like a bunch of the same things, and have the same sense of humor.  I really do wish I wasn't up here in Flag the year leading up to him leaving on his mission.  but we were able to have some great moments together before he left.  We've written while he's been away on his mission {I did a post about it here}, and even though he's only a state away, even though it seems a world away, we've grown so much closer in ways that I didn't think I could get close to someone.  I cannot wait until he returns in a year!
