Here's my sister, cousin and I posing with the Steve Harvey poster (whose eyes followed you around the room). We didn't really get to meet Mr. Harvey (though that'd be totes cool!), but we find out in about 3 weeks if we do!
It was kinda nerve-wracking to try out, even though there wasn't much of a process. First, we had to fill out an application with all our fam's info, and had to put an interesting fact for each of ourselves. Nerve-wracking task #1. I can never think of facts of myself EVER. Then, basically we had to wait our turn to be called and we went up to the table with a {very} mock setup of the game. Then, the kinda really cute MC would ask a question, and which ever family got it, they'd answer til they got 3 strikes {like the normal game} and we got the chance to steal their "points". Then, the MC would ask a second question, and no matter who won the bell ringing answer, the other family would get the chance to play it out, so they could see how each of us reacted during the game. They also taped us. Kinda nerve-racking, right?!
Our question was "What almost always appears in a James Bond movie?" We guessed and got, Villians {my guess!}, sexy women {#1 answer}, explosions, cool cars, and guns. We also guessed but missed, tuxes and boats. Then, when the other family tried to steal, they guessed "martinis, shaken not stirred" which wasn't on the board, so we ended up "winning" the round. It was kinda ridic because we missed the obvious of "James Bond appears in every James Bond movie". My mom was going to guess it, but decided to go with another answer that gave us our 3rd strike.
It was so super fun though! I can't wait if we find out that we make it!
